Co-Lighting Designing the Big Air Show with Matt Chambers is always one of the most unique shows of my year. It’s great to work with the entire CASS Audio team to bring this show to life again! This show included not only a high intensity ski jump show, but also a timecoded introduction to show off what this ski hill can do with its lighting.

To ensure this shows success, we focused on fixture choice to make sure the fixtures are not just bright and filled with eye candy, but also rugged enough to withstand the elements of the Canadian winter season on a ski hill.

The rig consisted of multiple vertical upright towers along the side of the ski hill, lined with various lighting fixtures like the GLP JDC-1 strobe. We had two structures at the front of the hill which provided key light on the hill, and even more eye candy. Powering the show is a GrandMA3 Light provided by Mr. Light Solutions, which I took full advantage of running in the latest Mode3 software.
